Description

Cross-Cultural Management a lively and engaging text suitable for both undergraduate and MBA and other postgraduate students taking Cross-Cultural or International Management modules. It encourages students to engage critically with topics through reflective questions and other activities which are particularly suited to multicultural student cohorts. It also includes numerous case studies from around the global making it a truly international text.

This concise but in-depth text offers up-to-date and comprehensive coverage of cross-cultural social relations in the work setting and provides an evaluation of existing frameworks for understanding cross-cultural differences as they affect workplace behaviour and the management of people. It also examines the inter-cultural competencies needed by managers dealing with employees from different cultural backgrounds and points to implications of an awareness of cultural difference for HRM strategies and policies.
