Terms of use for Toolkit tools


If you work in an organisation you can use them with your employees as a facilitator. The tools can be customised to suit your organisation. For instance you can add your own logo, insert or delete whole chunks of text or images, and change the formatting to suit your company branding. If you wish to place the electronic files on a company intranet or use them across multiple sites/offices please email rightsandpermissions@cipd.co.uk to apply for a multi-user licence.

If you are a consultant you can adapt the tools to the needs of your client for a specific project. Your client and their employees have the right to keep and reuse the tools for the lifetime of this project.


Terms of use for downloadable forms, letters and policies from our subscription products


The forms, letters and policies in the subscription information services are provided as templates to be tailored to an organisation’s needs. For example, if you work in an organisation you can use them with your employees and customise them to suit your organisation. For instance you can add your own logo, insert or delete whole chunks of text or images, and change the formatting to suit your company branding.

If you are a consultant you can adapt the tools to the needs of your client for a specific project. Your client and their employees have the right to keep and reuse the tools for the lifetime of this project.

The customisation of documentation does not apply to the accompanying commentaries and does not allow example documents to be distributed to other establishments or persons, whether for sale or otherwise, and/or to be reported in other publications.

Your subscription access key is personal to your own account. If you would like someone else in your organisation to be able to access your subscription product, please email rightsandpermissions@cipd.co.uk to apply for a multi-user licence.
