My HR Map is a new online self assessment tool, exclusively for members. It can be used to assess your capability against the activities, knowledge and behaviours in the CIPD HR Profession Map, guiding you to develop your career plans and personal development objectives.

Upgrading to CIPD professional membership


Most CIPD approved qualifications provide the underpinning knowledge towards professional membership (Associate, Chartered Member or Chartered Fellow). If you can demonstrate how you meet the criteria for professional membership, you can upgrade to a professional level of membership. Plus if you are a Student member your first application to upgrade is free, if taken during study or a year after completion of your CIPD approved qualification.

Our membership is widely acknowledged to enhance career development and job prospects. It’s recognised as a benchmark and is widely accepted by employers as a requirement of practice. If you're a professional member you can use designatory letters after your name (Assoc CIPD, Chartered MCIPD, Chartered FCIPD and Chartered CCIPD).
