Membership for those with CIPD-approved qualifications
If you’ve been awarded a relevant qualification within the last ten years, direct admission for approved qualifications is the best way for you to become a member.

What will my grade of membership be?
Direct admission for approved qualification can lead to Associate, Licentiate or Graduate membership. Your grade of membership will depend on which qualification you hold and when you achieved it.

What do I need to do?
Simply fill in the direct admission for approved qualifications application form and return it to us with a copy of your qualification certificate(s) and the relevant membership fees.
How long will it take to join?
Providing we have all the details from you, we’ll send your membership card and receipt of payment within ten working days of receiving your application form.
How much does it cost to join?
To join us through direct admission for approved qualifications, you’ll need to pay a one-off admission fee and an annual subscription fee.
If you’re applying using a CIPD-approved qualification you’ll also need to pay the relevant non-registration fee.
