General issues

  • We are beginning a project into how reward can support good diversity practice through rewarding and recognising difference. The report will be published in October 2005.

  • We have produced research into ways to increase disabled users access to e-learning. Inclusion learning for all covers issues such as accessiblity, and what organisations can do to improve their services.
  • Read the research

  • A guide on diversity is due for publication later in 2005.

  • We are conducting an exciting action research project with the University of Hertfordshire. Results will be publicised later in 2004, and throughout 2005.

  • An executive briefing on diversity and the law was published in August 2004. It assess whether the legislation introduced to support diversity standards in organisations has actually had an impact.

  • In 2003 we produced an analysis of the academic studies on diversity. The Executive Briefing, Diversity: Stacking up the Evidence offers insights into the challenges facing organisations when determining diversity strategies. Different types are identified:
    • social category
    • informational
    • value diversity.
