Dr Rainer Strack

Dr Rainer Strack is a Partner and Managing Director at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in Düsseldorf. Since joining BCG in 1994, Rainer Strack has led many highly diverse projects dealing with strategy, reorganisation, controlling, and human resources management.

From 1996 to 1998, he was a consultant at the company's office in Boston under the auspices of the BCG Ambassador Program. He is one of the authors of the BCG reports The Future of HR in Europe as well as People Advantage, the new report on global HR challenges.

Rainer is the head of BCG's Organization/HR Practice Area in Germany and Europe and co-author of the new value management concepts WorkonomicsTM and CustonomicsTM for the quantitative controlling of human and customer capital. In 2001, in recognition of his role in developing these concepts and implementing them at an international corporate group, Rainer received the Erich Gutenberg Award. He has written numerous articles on strategy, value management, controlling, and human resources management, and is a member of the editorial board of the business organization journal Zeitschrift für Führung und Organisation.

Rainer Strack studied physics and business management at RWTH Aachen and has doctorate in physics.
