Presents the findings of a 2007 CIPD survey which examined the changing HR function. Issues covered include:
- restructuring the HR function
- benefits and challenges of HR structures
- roles and responsibilities of HR
- HR skills and careers.
The survey was the third phase of a major two-year CIPD research project. The main report from the work The Changing HR Function: Transforming HR? was published in November 2007, pulling together all the findings from the project, including case study findings.
A previous paper The Changing HR Function: The key questions reported on the earlier stages of the project, drawing on a literature review and discussions with key practitioners and academics.
