The judging process

The judging process for The People Management Award falls into two main stages, with one overall winner, category winners and runners-up being selected from a shortlist of 16 finalists.

Stage one

Stage one is the key assessment process to determine which entries will proceed to the judging day. You’ll need to provide a brief overview of the project you’re submitting for consideration. This should be no more than 1,000 words.

Stage two

A shortlist of 16 finalists (four from each category) will be selected from stage one. Representatives from each will then be invited to the judging day, which will be your opportunity to strengthen your case and to answer any questions that the judges may have.

Finalists

Finalists are invited to reserve tables at the Award ceremony gala dinner, where they can hear the results first hand! The gala dinner will be held during the CIPD’s Annual Conference & Exhibition at Harrogate in September 2008, with the overall winner, category winners and runners-up will receive their awards and acknowledgements following entertainment and dinner.
