Commercial CIPD Enterprises

They look at developing and marketing our commercial products and services, including training courses, books and conferences and exhibitions.

Communications

The Communications team works to raise our profile, enhance our reputation and professionalism and uphold our brand values. They market our membership services and manage the production of corporate literature and the website.

Finance

The Finance and Accounts department manages the financial matters of the CIPD. They provide financial support services to all our internal departments and deal with external customers, members, and suppliers.

Institute Secretary

The team is responsible for corporate governance and compliance, internal legal and contract matters and the code of professional conduct. They also enable the development of the CIPD’s 48 volunteer-run branches.

Information Technology

Develop, maintain and support hardware and software utilised in support of our IT and business strategies.

Membership and Education

Providing advice and guidance on all membership issues. This includes maintaining membership records, promoting professional development of members (including CPD and upgrading) and managing student members.

Personnel and Training

Providing an advisory and support service on all matters affecting our employees. They also develop and implement human resource policies and ensure the effective utilisation of personnel and development practices within the Institute.

Research and Policy

The Research and Policy team produce leading-edge research on people management and development issues, and use our research and members' professional experience to influence public policy.
