British Voice Association

Has a page of information on swine flu and a checklist for assessing the safety of lone workers and much more.

Website of Carers UK which is setting up Employers for Carers a service for employers, to help them offer support to carers (1 in 7 of the UK workforce)

Department of Health
The London Borough of Camden has produced a business game which can help you to devise a business continuity plan if you organisations has many cases of swine flu, for instance, at once.  You may need to make small alterations to make it relevant to your organisation.

Official website offering support to industry, commerce, and the public sector, with a focus on small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs).

National Aids Trust
This charity has recently published guidance on recruiting people with HIV following the Equality Act.

National Association for Mental Health
Website of Mind which is a charity offering support for people suffering from mental distress. Provides an extensive range of resources covering all aspects of mental health. 

New Economics Foundation (NEF)
Website of the NEF promotes economic, social and environmental issues through practical pilot projects, tools for change, in-depth research, campaigning, policy discussion, and raising awareness through the media and publications. Contains a section on its work on well-being, including a number of downloadable publications.

The Royal College of Psychiatrists
Has a list of of helpful items regarding work and mental health.

Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (ROSPA)
Clicking through to the occupational part of the site gives lists of resources, facts and figures and help for small firms. You can buy posters from them too.

Sainsbury Centre for Mental Health
Has information on getting people with mental health issues into paid work and staying in employment.
