Speaker(s): Graduated with a first class honours degree in Law from the London School of Economics. Taught law at King’s College, London and the London School of Economics before becoming a Sloan Fellow of the London Business School in 1970-71. Subsequently taught at the LBS for several years. Is a Legal Adviser to the Work Foundation (previously the Industrial Society), was a member of ACAS Council 1982-1995 and of the IPM National Committee for Employee Relations from 1986-1992. Writes regularly for People Management and other legal and management journals. Honorary Visiting Professor at Middlesex University. Olga has written several books including “Contracts”, published by the CIPD and now in its third edition, Managing Business Transfers, published by Tolley “Legal Problems of Employment” (with Sonia Pearson) and “Employment Welfare and Safety at Work” (with Judith Reid). Contributed the Section on Disciplinary and Grievance Procedures for Ask Gee. Has contributed to Employment Law Tracker published by Gee, as well as being Joint Editor together with Peter Reid, and contributes to Butterworth’s Xpert HR. Olga is the Senior Partner in the Aikin Driver Partnership which specialises in the provision of advice on matters relating to employment law.
