Welcome from Patricia Colden, the new Birmingham Branch Chair:
A warm welcome to the Birmingham CIPD Branch Website.
The primary purpose of our Branch is to promote and champion the objects of the CIPD Institute and to act as a channel to ensure that local CIPD members are given opportunities to network with colleagues, continue with their professional development and remain up to date with evolving HR issues.
We are an active branch with approximately 2,500 members. We believe you can benefit most from your membership by being actively involved with the Branch activities. This may be through attending events, contributing to our newsletters, participating in our on line discussions or by joining our Branch Committee if you would like to have a direct involvement in running the Branch. Whatever level of involvement you are able to have, we have no doubt you will find it both valuable and enjoyable.
As ever, the Branch Committee is working hard to continue to provide a diverse and comprehensive schedule of free and paid events for Members, enabling us all to share the benefit and expertise of a range of high profile speakers and leaders in our profession. This section is updated on a regular basis so please do check regularly and keep up to date with changes and additions.
We are very keen to ensure that our Branch programme remains up to date and relevant to you.
