This year’s second employment law update will be offered in a slightly different format, giving attendees the opportunity to get up-to-date with the latest changes in an interactive quiz style learning event. There will be a competitive element to the evening with participants answering questions in teams on a round by round basis. When booking a place at the event, please feel free to either book as a team or an individual to be placed in a team. There will be prizes for the winning team!
Speakers
Kathy Halliday
Kathy is experienced in both contentious and non contentious employment law and acts for a broad mix of clients in the public, private and charitable sectors. Kathy advises on HR strategy at a senior level in addition to providing general helpline advice, tribunal support and representation and change management projects. Kathy is rated by Legal 500 as “excellent in terms of her knowledge, quality of service and advice”
Rebecca McGuirk
Rebecca deals with all aspects of employment law including both contentious and non contentious. She acts primarily in the social housing sector. Rebecca appears regularly at employment tribunals across the country, provides day to day employment advice and advises on TUPE related and staff transfer issues. She has provided in house and external training on various aspects of employment law. Rebecca is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
