Our committee is run by volunteers who are elected every year in May at our AGM. If you are interested in learning more about our activities or would like to get involved please do get in touch.

The Birmingham Branch is one of the largest in the country with a membership that stands around 2400 of which 150 are Companions/Fellows, 600 Members and 400 Graduates.


Birmingham City Council Event – Thursday 2nd July 2009

 

As part of the change management planning for their Excellence in People Management programme, the CIPD Birmingham Branch CIPD were asked to assist Birmingham City Council as one of their partners in organising an internal conference for their HR community.

The aims of the conference were to embed the understanding of excellent people management practice, development within the Excellence in People Management programme as well as the concept of professionalising the HR service provided to the business. The Birmingham Branch Committee were on hand at the conference to help facilitate the day and provide advice and guidance to delegates on CIPD membership and courses.
