The branch has around 2,200 members, many of whom live and work in the Chiltern area. Due to our proximity to capital we also have a number of members who commute into London and as a result we have forged links with many of the local branches in that area to ensure that we offer our members a complete service.
Our members are from all levels and specialisms across the Human Resources field. From directors to students, we have established links with many of the businesses in the local area as well as the major CIPD course providers (Amersham and Wycombe College, Aylesbury College, Buckinghamshire and Chiltern University and Thames Valley University).
Although we have only a limited number of specialist groups in comparison to other branches, we pride ourselves on providing an annual learning programme that is second to none. Focused around two major hubs, Beaconsfield (to cater for our Slough and Becaonsfiled based members) and Aylesbury, we hold monthly events that facilitate networking opportunites and personal development in a number of leading edge topics. Through these we strive to help members to develop in their chosen careers and contribute to the success of their organisations.
The committee that co-ordinate the activities across the branch are always pleased to listen to our members views and welcome you to any events that you wish to attend. Moreover, as all the events that the branch offer are free of charge, please feel free to keep an eye on our events listings and attend those that you feel are most relevant to your personal or business interests.
The branch committee meets every month. We are always keen to welcome new members.
