Event details:

NHS is undergoing the biggest change in its history. The health reform will have an unprecedented impact on the health economy, especially in London.

During the time of change effective leadership is absolutely critical, however, NHS for many years has suffered from the lack of systematic approach to developing talent and providing contingency for maintaining strong leadership.

Over two years ago London Strategic Health Authority (NHS London) has committed itself to implement its first Pan- London Talent Management system in order to develop a sustainable pipeline of talent.

Lynda Shattock and Mark Watson will be talking about the challenges and how they dealt with them of running the pilot programme at the strategic and local level. They will also share their experiences so far of implementing the full programme during the time of major transformation.
