“SOSR” is one of least well understood categories of fair dismissal. This workshop will explore what can constitute “SOSR”, how it relates to redundancy, conduct and capability, and how it can be used in the context of:
- business reorganisations
- changes to terms of employment
- conduct by employees outside the workplace
- breakdown of trust and confidence
- third party pressure to dismiss
- TUPE
We will look at the key procedural and substantive elements of SOSR dismissals and allow time for discussion of case studies.
