Chris Seaton, Partner.

Chris joined Burges Salmon in 1991 after serving in the Royal Navy for 11 years. Chris is on the firm's Executive Management Committee. Chris deals with a full range of contentious and non-contentious employment work, advising employers and employees in both public and private sectors on the complete range of employment issues. Chris acts for a large number of multinational clients and coordinates employment advice across a wide range of jurisdictions.

Shelley Crofts, Associate

Shelley joined Burges Salmon as a trainee in 2006, qualifying into the employment law team in 2008. She has a wide range of experience across the spectrum of contentious and non-contentious employment law but has a particular interest in advising on and defending tribunal proceedings. Shelley also delivers a number of training programmes for HR teams across the country. Shelley is a member of the Bristol Tribunal User's Consultative Committee and participates in the National Employment Law Committee Meeting


Emily Greswell, Senior Associate.

Emily joined Burges Salmon as a trainee in September 2001 and qualified in 2003, specialising in employment law. She advises employers and employees in both the public and private sectors on a full range of contentious and non-contentious matters including discrimination and equality issues. Emily has a specialist interest in TUPE matters, particularly relating to public to private outsourcing and PPP/PFI projects.
