Employee reward: International incentives

Implementing long term (LTIPs) and short term (STIPs) incentives

Despite the adverse press associated with bonus and incentive payouts, both long term and short term incentives continue to play an important role in attracting and engaging good performers across sectors. This is seen an essential in the global businesses environment, though the complexities of implementing and managing LTIPs and STIPs across business lines and geographies is not to be underestimated.

What are the key challenges and opportunities to be managed and planned for? How to manage mandatory structures vs. performance? Who measures performance and how? Managing the M&A considerations?

At the Reward Special Interest Group meeting on Monday, 28th February, Ray Naylor, Compensation & Benefits Manager at GDF SUEZ will explore this topic focussing on his experience of introducing and managing LTIPs and STIPs and of overcoming the hurdles that need to be navigated along the way.

Interactive discussion and networking is encouraged at this Reward SIG for Reward & HR professionals.
