Event details:

In times of economic hardship, protecting a company’s reputation, confidential information, customer connections and the stability of its workforce takes on an even greater significance.

This practical seminar aims to equip HR practitioners with the knowhow and expertise they need to ensure they have the correct policies and procedures in place to achieve this and to inform the business of relevant and effective practical steps which can be taken.

The seminar will focus in particular on:

  • What is confidential information and how can it be protected via policies and other practical measures?
  • In what circumstances can an employer prevent an ex-employee competing? Can team moves be stopped? If so how?
  • What does HR need to look for when a new employee joins from a competitor or with confidential information in their possession?
  • What measures are most effective to prevent employees taking clients and other trade connections?
