Chris comes from a background ideally suited to being a guide - he and his family have lived in London for over 200 years and have worked in various traditional trades like hatters, fishmongers and toolmakers.

Chris is a City of Westminster Guide and an Associate of the Institute of Tourist Guides. He is vice-chair of the City of Westminster Guide Lecturers Association, a member of the City of London Guide Lecturers Association, as well as a Freeman of the City of London. He has recently been awarded a Diploma in London History at Birkbeck College, London.

Vibrant Victoria! It’s development and regeneration and branch AGM

Join us for an early summer evening walk and hear all about this fascinating part of London and find out about a few of the scandals too!

Chris Everett will take us on a guided walk (about 45 minutes) through the streets of this hidden part of London that is in the process of so much change.

This walk will be preceeded by the brief Branch Annual General meeting. We will start and finish at Manning House.

Nominated branch officers and committee members are elected at the AGM. If you are interested in nominating yourself for one of the roles and would like to discuss it further, Michael Moran, Branch Chair, will be able to talk to you about the role and responsibilities.
