Reward SIG

What is the Reward Special Interest Group (SIG) about?

The Reward SIG is a special interest forum for Reward and HR professionals to network and discuss issues and best practices in reward. The group aims to be informal and participative with a guest speaker at each event to create the opportunity for discussion and debate as well as networking.

Who can attend?

All CIPD members are welcome to attend (not just Central London members) and, where numbers permit, guests of CIPD members are able to join our events.

How often does the Reward SIG meet?

The re-launched Reward SIG group meets 3 to 4 times per year. The venue is Central London (typically CIPD offices at Manning House or Hay Group offices near Victoria) from 18:00 to 20:00.

Tell me about the events and the guest speakers?

Since the Reward SIG was re-launched nearly 3 years ago (June 2005) our guest speakers have included Helen Murlis, Director of Hay Group; Debra Corey, Director Compensation & Benefits EMEA at Honeywell and Duncan Brown, Director of PwC and past assistant director general of CIPD. Our 2008 events cover topics such as Total Rewards; Mergers & Acquisitions and International Reward Programmes.

It sounds interesting – how can I find out more?

The Reward SIG was re-launched by Sylvia Doyle, Reward First People Consulting and you can contact her by email or Tel: 07989 383 491.

Please could you keep me informed of future events?

Yes please contact the Central London Branch Administrator and ask to be included on the Reward SIG mailing list.

Would you like to be a guest speaker or help organise future events?

Please get in touch with Sylvia Doyle - contact details above.

SIG Objectives
The Reward SIG was set up to establish a successful network for Reward and HR professionals to discuss reward issues and upcoming trends and to share best practice. If you haven’t been to one of our events, come along and see for yourself.
