Event details:

Many organisations are responding increasingly to demands for improved customer service, efficiency savings, cost reductions and productivity improvements by implementing new ways of working. In some sectors flexible working is common but not always delivering its full potential. Over recent years a change of emphasis has occurred from flexible working primarily as part of a programme to improve work-life balance to being a strategic operational approach. Now it is much more likely that employers will be looking to flexible working to make a major contribution to business performance. We will cover:
• What is flexible working?
• Challenges
• HR’s contribution
• Flexible Work types
• Successful implementation
• Gains
• Examples

Outcomes
At the end of the session you will have considered how all the tasks HR undertake can contribute to effective flexible working and reviewed present performance in your context.
