Welcome to the Devon and Cornwall Branch

Our Branch covers a wide geographical area, and travel between two points on a map that appear to be conveniently close, is not always such a simple and quick journey. Because of this, we have divided up our region into five areas: one in Cornwall, three in Devon and one which straddles the Devon and Cornwall border around Plymouth. Each Area Group has either one or two Group Chairs and organises regular events and meetings, in and around its own geographical confines.

If you are looking to upgrade your level of membership. We can comment on your application, before it's sent to CIPD

Our branch membership advisers can offer confidential mentoring.

You should also receive regular branch event e-mail updates.

We hold a number of one-day Branch Conferences every year, for which a charge is made. These are excellent value for money, are open to non-members if space permits - members receive a preferential rate.

We are always looking for new committee members who are prepared to give up a few hours, help to organise an event or provide a venue for an Area Group meeting, etc. We encourage newcomers to shadow established organisers to introduce them to Branch activities without a culture-shock.

We are a pro-active and interactive Branch and we welcome any ideas you have for future events or meetings; you might even wish to volunteer to help run the Branch or give a talk to your Area Group.

Please contact me if you would like to take advantage of any of our services or if you have any queries about the Devon and Cornwall Branch (I might not know the answers but I usually know someone who does!).
