Change is constant at work, at home and in the world in general. At work people have to manage through countless challenges, reorganisations, re-launches, downsizings, coping with the loss of former colleagues, responsibilities expanding etc.
However good we feel we are at adapting, there are times when we find change difficult to handle. We need help to adapt personally and to help others to adapt and come on board. As HR leaders, we benefit from knowing not only legal issues but also typical behavioural and psychological responses to change. Come along to this event and be involved in discussions about: what aids change; HR input to change in the strategic plan and how to ensure that HR is involved from the beginning so can influence the people aspect of it; how people react at the different stages during change; and what communication approaches to adopt at the different phases.
