Events
Our events are central to how we engage with our membership and HR community and give us the opportunity to provide learning, and networking to both members and non-members. We hold a range of topics throughout the year from employment law through to the latest HR trends and practical tips for you to take back to the workplace.
One of our highlights is the annual Spring Ball which is a great opportunity for local HR professionals to hear relax, network and hear from a guest speaker on relevant HR and Management topics. We hold our events at various times of the day and locations to ensure we maximise the chance for members to attend. If you sign up to our mailing list and we will send you fortnightly updates on what is coming up.
Details of all our events are included in our newsletter and Events page.

Group Bursaries
The Guernsey CIPD Group offer a bursary to members who are studying for CIPD qualifications who are not receiving financial support from their employers or from elsewhere. The bursary is awarded following an application process.
The successful candidate is required to provide regular progress reports and participate in public relations activities. For anyone interested in studying but doesn’t know how to fund it, then this is an excellent way to avoid missing out!
Supporting School to Work
We play an active part in the Education Business Partnership (EBP) which is a local group focusing on how students make the transition from school to work in Guernsey. Each year there are numerous, superb opportunities to get involved with projects that can help young people to prepare for the world of work including the EBP conference, Careers Show and the School to Work project. For more information contact Janine Lane, Vice Chair.
Join our Group Committee
These services could not be organised and maintained without the superb support of local members who have volunteered to serve on the committee. Offers of support are always welcome - as well as being fun, participation on the committee often offers the chance to network and further learn and develop. Other volunteers are just happy to give something back something to their profession.
What is clear is that we all benefit together!
If you would like to learn more about the Committee’s work, or you have any ideas for future events, or have any other suggestions, we would love to hear from you - please contact the relevant member of the committee via the Contact us page.
