Meta Mayhem?  Meta Menace?  Meta Murder? Or Meta Mastery?

15 October 2008 09:00 for 09:30 start
Humber Branch

Subject area:  (None)
Speaker(s):

Peter McNab INLPTA Master Trainer

Peter is an international NLP Master Trainer who has worked on four continents.

He will be bringing the wealth of experience that he has gained working with a wide variety of organisations such as the police, the fire and rescue service, and the health service, as well as several blue chip companies, to his Master Class on Metaprogrammes.

His background in teaching and social work has led to a very pragmatic approach to communication skills and participants can expect to learn plenty, have lots of fun, and take away practical skills that you will be able to utilise in your work and personal lives the very next day.

Event details:

One of the things that has always fascinated Peter is the fact that although in many ways we are very similar, in many more ways we are very different from one another. It is what we do with this difference that makes the difference in organisations.

On this very practical day we shall be exploring the many ways in which we are different using the Metaprogrammes as our main filter. We use these unconscious filters to process our experiences. Some of the most important ones include Sameness & Difference, Global & Specific, Internal or External Frame of Reference, and Towards and Away From.

Once we have identified these, participants will have an opportunity to develop new ways of communicating with others using these filters.

The day will consist of some input, discussion and exercises around each Metaprogramme, a fun integration exercise bringing all the patterns together, and finally an opportunity to utilise the learning in a real business case.
