Talent management: what is it and why does it matter?

CIPD Ireland Eastern Region Event

Talent management has become one of the most widely used terms in the field of human resource management. However, it is often used in quite generic terms and there is little agreement on its key characteristics and focus of talent management. Drawing on leading edge insights from recent research, this session will unpack some of the key elements of effective talent management systems and consider some of the key challenges of managing top talent.
