Welcome to the Lancashire Branch.
After the success of last year's talks, which averaged 74 members per event, and the new style pocket programme, we have taken on board your comments and feedback. This year we have made the fold out page of the programme bigger and included the whole year so you can use it as a calendar. The Committee and I hope you like it and find it useful as a regular reminder of the free CPD opportunities available to you and your guests.
We will still have the free book raffle at most of our events open to all that attend, funded by the David Alexander Memorial fund, just turn up and pick up your ticket!
We are very pleased when we have members from other branches and guests attending, specifically for Lancahisre Branch Members every time you attend we will put your name in the CIPD annual conference raffle worth over £1,250, which will be drawn at the 2009 AGM on 14th May.
The launch of the Independant Consultants Special Interest Group has been a success. There is capacity for other's to attend, so if you are interested please talk to any one of our committee members either at branch events or contact us through the contact us page (on the left hand side).

Finally, come and enjoy yourself whilst completing your CPD, meet other positive people (negative ones usually cannot be bothered and miss out!) take part, take away practical tools and insights to use at work and play, maybe stretch your comfort zone and make a difference.
