Our Objectives for 2007/08
1. To provide a programme of events that are both useful and valuable to our members.
2. To raise the profile of CIPD locally as a valued source of information for HRD professionals and organisations
3. Maintain and develop relationships with colleges/universities and their students
4. To facilitate local members development through CPD & upgrading membership
5. To facilitate specialist interest groups to share best practice
6. The major source of communication to our members will be through our branch website and regular newsletters.
7. To provide the focus for two way exchange of information between CIPD HQ and local members on policies and governance of the Institute through the branch committee, newsletter, website and events throughout the year.
