To be the leading Professional body in the Lancashire area for HR, Management and Training Professionals, supporting local organisations through our membership.

To maintain & attract membership at all levels providing them with the skills, resources, knowledge and expertise to support their professional activities. 

Our Objectives

1. To provide a broad programme of events/training programmes that are useful, valuable and affordable to our members.

2. To raise the profile of CIPD locally as a valued source of information for all levels of HR professionals and organisations

3. Maintain and develop relationships with colleges/universities and their students

4. To facilitate local members development through CPD & upgrading membership.

5. To facilitate specialist interest groups to share best practice

6. The major source of communication to our members will be through our branch website, people management magazines and branch e-newsletters.

7. To provide the focus for two way exchange of information between CIPD HQ and local members on policies and governance of the Institute through the branch committee, e-newsletters, website, events and training programmes throughout the year.
