CIPD LEICESTERSHIRE BRANCH - PURPOSE STATEMENT
The Leicestershire Branch aims to promote, share and develop best practice in the management and development of people and organisations.
We do this by adding value to our local membership through:
• Supporting the aims and objectives of the CIPD nationally and in particular to ensuring that they are applied in a meaningful and representative way to our membership.
• Providing a channel for branch members to express their views on both local and national issues. This ensures that the Branch Committee can represent members’ views and aspirations to the CIPD nationally.
• Supporting members continuing professional development.
• Providing the opportunity for members to participate in local networks and to develop local contacts.
• Providing a forum for special interest groups and a programme of events that reflects the diversity and different needs of the branch membership.
