Annual Employment Law Review and Update 2012

Annual Employment Law Review and Update 2012

Wednesday 7th March 2012 and Thursday 8th March 2012 (two one-day events)

The format for the day will include an update of key case law over the last twelve months and an analysis of new and pending legislation. The “key themes” session, where law meets HR practice is on Agency Workers. There will be an interactive group case study session which will conclude the day, where legal knowledge will be refreshed and new learning applied to a real life HR scenario.

This is an excellent opportunity to ensure that as a HR Professional, you keep yourself updated on new and pending legislation as well as ensuring you understand the key case law that has made the headline over the last year.

This is also the perfect opportunity to network with other delegates and test your skills and knowledge on a practical case study.

Ensure you don’t fall into the pitfalls of the unwary when dealing with the very topical issue of agency workers and receive a comprehensive delegate pack, containing relevant case references and practical guidance – very useful for future reference and to share with colleagues.

Speakers: Barristers Dr Stephen Hardy and Ms Rachel Wedderspoon, from 9STJOHNST
Chambers in Manchester

Venue: The Copthorne Hotel, Clippers Quays, Salford Quays, Salford

This is a fee paying event and well worth attending. Fees are:
£125 plus VAT for CIPD members
£200 plus VAT for non members
£62.50 plus VAT for full-time students.

If you would like to attend the event, you can register now
