Your local branch is not run by full time CIPD employees but local members who volunteer their time and energy. Without them, CIPD NI couldn't function and put on events.
Volunteering gives you an opportunity to develop skills and contacts you might not otherwise get a chance to in your day-to-day role or enhance those that you do. It’s great for your personal development as well as your career and CV. It’s also a lot of fun….so, why wouldn’t you nominate yourself?!
Feedback and event attendance are always welcome, but even more welcome is your time, energy and enthusiasm spent working with the committee on one of the 4 sub-committees - Strategy and Policy; Events; Communications; CPD and Membership.
