Event details: CIPD Chief Economic Advisor is visiting Yorkshire on Wednesday 29th February 2012 to speak at the Yorkshire HR Directors’ Forum which is being hosting by DLA Piper at their office at Princes Exchange, Princes Square Leeds LS1 4BY commencing at 5:30pm.

John is the regular face of the CIPD in the national media. At this meeting he will be discussing the "Economic Trends and Developments in the UK Labour Market for 2012".

A regular contributor to national news programmes on trends in the labour market, John joined the CIPD in November 2000. He began his career in higher education in the early 1980's and then from 1987 - 2000 was Director of the Employment Policy Institute (EPI), an independent public policy think-tank. John is a Fellow of the RSA and a member of the Society of Business Economists. He holds a DPhil (Oxford 1984), an honorary DLitt (University of Westminster) and was a former Visiting Professor at the University of Hertfordshire.
