23 September 2008 18:30 for 19:00 start
South East Thames Branch
Subject area:
Employment law
Venue:
Holiday Inn, Southwold Road, Bexley, DA5 1ND
Speaker(s):
Roy Carlo and Judith Curran from local law firm Batchelors.
Event details:
S E Thames Branch is pleased to welcome Roy Carlo and Judith Curran from local law firm Batchelors. Roy and Judith will provide an overview of the latest developments in legislation and recent cases, before moving on to a case study concerning an apparently innocuous grievance that snowballed in to a 19 day tribunal marathon – Mountains from Molehills!!
Batchelors is a Bromley based law firm with a recently opened London office and specialist operations in commercial, employment and European law. Roy Carlo heads the employment team and has more than 30 years experience in employment and litigation in both the public and private sectors. With a 90% plus success rate in cases at Employment Tribunal through to High Court and Court of Appeal, we will clearly enjoy a very well informed session.
