Finding CIPD centres in your area
Use the search facility above to find centres and colleges that provide CIPD courses in your area or go to the membership section of the CIPD site for a more detailed search of courses.

Upgrading is now a simple process and worth doing, as soon as you are eligible, so that you can take advantage of the opportunities higher grades of membership, attract. These include immediate recognition of your experience and your skills (and how you achieved these) when going for new jobs or promotion. You will also be able to vote on CIPD policy.
If you have five years’ managerial experience, including three in personnel or training, you can apply to upgrade from Graduate to Chartered Member. With ten years’ experience in a senior HR role, you can apply to upgrade to Chartered Fellow.
The application process is straightforward. You will need to complete an application form, attaching a CV, a CPD record or a completed personal statement questionnaire (from CIPD), and a signed statement from your line manager or a client confirming your professionalism.
