As your Chair for 08-09 I would like to thank everyone who attended the AGM and the Celebration Dinner. Congratulations to all the Students who where awarded Prizes at the Dinner and the Catherine Johnstone award to Andy Knorpel from ASB Law.
As promised the committee have tried to set a programme of events for our membership.
After last years successful HR Ambitions Conference, I would like to invite you to the 2nd HR Ambitions Conference on 15th November. Guest Speaker Jane Houzer London South Bank University with 2 exciting workshops to help you develop yourselves and achieve your ambitions, whether to up grade your CIPD qualifications, Gain a Promotion, Change your Job Role or become Freelance. These workshops were well received last year and helped many members to succeed in their careers.
Due to the Great success of our Legal updates the Branch will be holding a Mock Tribunal Event on the 2nd December 8.30am – 12.30pm with Breakfast to be provided. So place this dates in your diaries and keep checking the website for when these events go 'live' for bookings.
The Croydon Group have had 2 successful events and the 3rd is now fully booked.
