Simeon specializes in Employee Benefits, Wealth Management and Personal Financial Planning.
Sofia Syed qualified as a solicitor in 1999. She works for Morrisons Solicitors in Woking. She acts for both employers and employees and also delivers employment seminars on a regular basis.
Event details:
In October 2012, implementation of the much heralded “auto enrolment” provisions will commence, requiring employers to enrol all qualifying employees in either an occupational pension scheme or in the new National Employment Savings Trust (NEST) scheme after three months of employment. Unlike the Stakeholder regime, these new provisions require employers to make prescribed contributions towards their employees’ pension, and employees must take positive action if they want to opt out. The largest organisations must act now to ensure plans and processes are in place in time. Simeon Adams will take us through both the legal aspects and the practicalities of what needs to be done to ensure our organisations get this right. Sofia Syed, from Morrisons Solicitors LLP will also be to deal with any of your legal queries on these changes.
