Due to the exceedingly high demand for this event, Irwin Mitchell have now agreed, to repeat the Employment Law Update seminar on the 20th November 2008. This will start at 8:30 a.m with breakfast from 8:00 a.m. and will be held at their offices at Riverside East, 2 Millsands, Sheffield S3 8D. There is multi-storey car parking available near to the Irwin Mitchell Offices. Branch administrator: Invitation to provide services

The branch committee invites applications to provide administrative services in support of its activities including the organization of branch events and the handling of enquiries from members, employers and professional and other bodies.

In total, the committee group meet six times a year. A key element of the services to be provided will be the production and circulation of agenda, minutes and papers for committee meetings and attending the meetings which are held in the evening in central Sheffield. This contract involves up to 250 hours of services a year for which a fee of £8.50 an hour will be paid, plus travel expenses. The administrator will be self-employed and responsible for their own tax and National Insurance.

Experience of accurate minute taking and effective administrative work in support of a committee is essential. Experience of working in human resources and knowledge of the workings of a professional body are desirable. The successful person will need to possess appropriate ICT facilities including e-mail.
