Discover the benefits of peer mentoring and find out the secrets behind some successful nationally recognised projects. From prisoner to graduate or employee to Director - these are just some of the concepts revealed at this event.

Karyn Buck is the Managing Director of The Learning Ladder Ltd., which provides training solutions for individuals, teams and organisations. Karyn is also a Senior Mentor, progression specialist and trainer. She has designed and embedded mentoring programmes that have won awards and gained national recognition. Karyn’s facilitating style is memorable, highly active and fun.

Karyn is a trainer and motivational speaker, specialises in mentoring and has received national recognition. She is also the founder of The Buck Project which delivers a highly specialised programme of Mentoring for Progression and has received national awards. Karyn has also personally received awards both regionally and nationally.

Her own personal achievements add depth and colour to the inspiration she delivers. She has designed, developed and embedded many mentoring initiatives and projects which include working with organisations such as Domino’s, Oxford University and various Prisons.

During her career, Karyn has amassed a wealth of experience across a range of industry sectors in both technical and service environments. Karyn’s presentations have been described as memorable, highly active, fun and totally inspirational. Her topics of expertise also include communication, motivation, personal development, training and networking.

Karyn is also a Director of two not-for-profit organisations:
• Oxfordshire Town Chambers Network – a respected communications network for 31 Groups, 1,600 members across Oxfordshire, plus 17 events networks with a database reach in excess of 3,750 businesses
• Spring Hill Farms and Gardens – a successful lottery funded regeneration project that will develop an educational centre and revitalise the extensive Farms and Gardens resource at HMP Springhill.

She is also a trustee of the Student Union at the University of Greenwich and a Governor of Abingdon and Witney College.
