INTRODUCTION
Welcome and thank you for taking the time to look through the 2009-10 Programme of Events for the West of England Branch. There are over 40 events for you to choose from. The area and specialist groups have, as ever, produced an amazing variety of events this year.

I would like to thank our dedicated Committee and members of Groups who make the events possible and undertake all of the Branch activities, and I thank them whole heatedly for all of the time and energy that they put into the CIPD as unpaid volunteers.
Thank you to those of you who have supported our events in the past and we look forward to seeing you again and we also look forward to greeting members who are new to the events. We are always delighted to welcome new members to the Committee and Groups; and any feedback that you can give us to help us to provide the service you require, please let me know.

BOOKING INFORMATION
All events must be booked in advance as places may be limited. Frequently, events become fully booked very quickly and reserve lists are held.
Event flyers will be emailed to members approximately a month before the event date. If you have not yet supplied the Branch with your email address, please contact the Branch Administrator, Lise Sheridan on 01275 392085 or lise@landpsheridan.freeserve.co.uk for an email permission form;

There are two ways in which you can book a place at an event:- by telephone on 01275 392085 or by email through the website.
Whichever method used the Branch Administrator will email you to confirm whether a place has been booked for you on the requested event. Please provide your name, job title, company name and contact details.
When booking a place at an event, please advise of any special requirements.
