Thank you to everyone who has been involved with the Somerset Group in the last year, whether it has been attending events, helping with the organisation and planning or just simply providing your feedback. Every contribution, however small is always welcomed.
The Somerset Group meets approximately every 6 weeks socially, to plan and organise events. We have direct links with some local colleges and offer our support to the students as and when they need it. We are always on the look out for new committee members, so if you were able to contribute in any way, we’d love to hear from you!
The events programme has been formulated this year taking into account all of the feedback we have received and we look forward to welcoming members old and new in 2007/2008.
Finally, thank you to Lisa Wyatt-Jones, who has taken up the position of Chair for the West of England Branch, for all her hard work and commitment – I have a hard job to follow. Thank you also to the committee members for their continued support and hard work. I look forward to working with every one of you!
