A MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIR
Dear Colleague
In this my first year as Chair of Wessex, may I take
this opportunity to welcome you to the programme
of events for 2008/2009.
Across the Wessex Branch we have a very dedicated
group of committee members who have been working
tirelessly to compile this year’s programme of events.
In doing so, they have endeavoured to provide a
‘balanced’ programme highlighting many issues which
may have an impact on your business.
As members of a Chartered Institute, we are all required
to ensure that we continue with our professional
development. Most events in the handbook will
qualify for a certificate of attendance which can be
included in your Continuous Professional Development
portfolio. If you have not upgraded already, I urge you
to do so, if you require help with this please contact David Gaines.
Finally, I would just like to thank those of you who
supported the events last year by your attendance
and for the feedback we have received. In addition,
my thanks also go to all the committee members
across Wessex for their continued hard work which
they undertake on a volunteer basis.
