A MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIR
Dear Colleague
We are coming to the end of this, my first year as Chair of the Wessex Branch. I hope that you agree with me that this has been an interesting year with the five groups in the Wessex Branch delivering a varied and interesting programme to you, the members of the CIPD Wessex Branch.
Changes in the economic climate in the past year have been substantial and, I am sure, these offer challenges to all of us. Remember, that the CIPD has a membership, like you, dealing with the issues and trials of changing times; networking with other members may help you in discussing aspects of employment that confront us.
During May all of the groups will be having their annual AGMs. If you are interested in getting more involved with CIPD in your area please contact the Chair of your local group, this can be done through this web site. Wessex too will be having its AGM in May. This will take place on Wednesday 13 May after the Southampton Group AGM at the Mayflower Theatre. Please come along and see what the CIPD Wessex Branch can offer you.
