Speaker(s): Dan Jenkins is Director of Access2 HR Services, an HR consultancy business based in Amesbury and servicing clients across the South of England. He also sits as lay member of Employment Tribunals in the Southampton region, which he has done for the last 8 years. Dan has 25 years experience in management and HR within Hospitality, Retail, Distribution and Professional Services within the UK and France. He has operated in HR at board level for a PLC company and over the past 5 years he has worked in consultancy with owners and directors of businesses (mainly SME) in a variety of sectors.

The Andover and Salisbury Group are pleased to host this award ceremony for those students completing their studies at Wiltshire College, Salisbury.

We are also pleased to welcome Dan Jenkins, Director, Access2 HR Services Ltd.who will give us a brief history of Employment Tribunals, including a very brief review of the current status of the service. Dan will focus on what the tribunal is considering when hearing cases, including witnesses, evidence, credibility issues, etc. He will also challenge the myth that most cases are won by employees, which is not the case and he will look at some of the reasons behind this.
