Rebecca Clake is Manager, HR Practice Development at CIPD. Rebecca joined the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development in 2003. Rebecca has recently produced a Guide for HR practitioners on workforce planning and is overseeing work on employee communication and approaches to change.
She is responsible for the CIPD’s new HR outlook survey looking at the priorities for the function and the changing landscape we operate in. Rebecca has also been involved in the CIPD’s Next Generation HR project.
Rebecca previously worked for the Boots Company. She has undertaken both Head Office and field-based roles in HR and training.
Annette Frem is Head of Solutions, the Consultancy part of the Bernard Hodes Group. She works with clients to help them formulate their employer brands, and ensures that those employer brands drive not only external communications but internal engagement as well. Annette is passionate about helping organisations build and manage their employer brand and about engaging employees with their business culture and strategy. She has worked with clients such as Anglo American, Genzyme, HSBC, HMRC, BNYM, Barclays, and Philip Morris. She is also a frequent speaker at European employer brand and employee engagement conferences.
Annette was a contributor to the book: “The Employer Brand: Keeping Faith with the Deal” http://www.employerbranddeal.co.uk, and was co-author of the CIPD publications: “The Impact of mergers on the Employer Brand”, and “Harnessing the Power of Employee Communications”.
