Katherine Maxwell is a Partner and Head of Employment at Moore Blatch. She deals with a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment issues. Her client base ranges from plc to small companies, as well as senior executives. Katherine is highlighted in Chambers UK 2010 as a leading individual in the field of employment law. Paul Whitaker is a Partner and Head of Dispute Resolution at Moore Blatch. He has practised in employment Law for 25 years acting for large corporates to SMEs and private individuals. He is particularly experienced in mediation having been involved in numerous mediations over the last 10 years and being an accredited mediator himself and has recently trained in workplace mediation. He is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.

The Moore Blatch team will talk about the new approach to resolving disputes in the workplace using the ACAS code and workplace meditation and how to use compromise agreements as an effective tool to achieve binding outcomes and avoid claims.
