The seminar will develop leadership capability, awareness and responsibility by:
- looking at the many challenges facing leaders today and the emerging style and skills expected of leaders in the future
- exploring the pressing need for change in workplace attitudes and behaviour
- examining how the adoption of a coaching management style leads to success Sir John Whitmore will:
- explain the principles, process and purpose of coaching
- introduce tools and techniques of coaching allowing you to develop strong leadership skills and an authentic coaching management style that will become the expression of a performance coaching culture within the organisation
- examine the coaching and development of individuals and teams, and the principles of enhanced performance, including Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and effective questioning to build trust, awareness, responsibility and self-belief
- explore the importance of accepting responsibility for leading the way to the embedding of a true coaching culture and strong leadership across the whole organisation
- explore the full integration of what has been learned into the very fabric of the organisation and how that will be sustained from within and supported by the leadership
- coach you to devise and commit to your own action plans for implementation and for further learning
- provide suggestions for follow-up workplace practice for growing performance and furthering the learning thereafter. Inspiring examples of strong leadership, high performance and organisational success achieved through coaching will be shared throughout.
