Lisa Matthewman is the Principal Lecturer in Occupational and Organisational Psychology at the University of Westminster Business School.
She is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. Lisa is also a founding council member of the Society for Coaching Psychology and is an Accredited Member.
Lisa’s biography includes work with Walpole Training and Development (1990), the Forum for Occupational Counselling and Unemployment Services (1992), the Institute of Psychiatry, (1993), the Home Office (1993-1995) and research with the Department of Organisational Psychology at Birkbeck College (1995-2000). Previously, Lisa was the Library Administrator for the European Mentoring Centre which later evolved into the European Mentoring and Coaching Council.
Lisa’s doctoral research was one of the first studies to explore the dynamics of personal development (mentoring) relationships over a one year period using a qualitative approach, resulting in the development of a comprehensive model of personal development relationship dynamics.
In short, she has a great deal of knowledge and understanding of the world of mentoring. West London CIPD members will have the pleasure of welcoming her to their final mentoring event of the 2011/12 year.
