From 1 October 2011, retirement will no longer be a fair reason for dismissal. This leaves employers in a difficult position when it comes to dismissing older employees who are no longer performing adequately. Hear the witnesses’ evidence and then have the chance to cross-examine the witnesses themselves on this new and gritty area of law.
